About Land Beyond Zion
Land Beyond Zion is a small woman owned guide business based in Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. Founded by Shanti Hodges, the executive director of Hike it Baby, a nonprofit dedicated to getting families out hiking with birth to 5-year-olds, the idea behind the business was to help create a more user friendly guide company for families, folks with mobility issues and those new to the outdoors. Accessibility to nature has always been a high priority for Shanti. Building a small adventure company that can support this is at the core of how we do business.
+++ Land Beyond Zion also has a small piece of land and can host special events, group campouts and corporate retreats. Want to learn more? Contact us. ++++
Land Beyond Zion has locations in La Verkin, UT (20 minutes from the park) and in Cane Beds, AZ near Hildale, UT & Colorado City, AZ on the Utah/Arizona border.
Land Beyond Zion LLC is fully insured and permitted to guide on public lands and in Zion National Park.
“Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit,
and as vital to our lives as water and good bread.” ― Edward Abbey
